THE BIBLE IS 99.5% ACCURATE

Isaiah 45:5 New King James Version  “I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not  known Me,”

Trust the bible! It's so accurate 99.5 percent, listen at Faith Gods Way how and why this is and then check out the supporting links below. Modern archaeology has helped us realize that the Bible is historically accurate even in the smallest of details.

There have been thousands of archaeological discoveries in the past century that support every book of the Bible.

The duration between the time that the work was first written and the conception time of the earliest existing copy is also important.

Here is a comparison of the duration times of the New Testament and other ancient works: Scholars like Biblical archaeologist William Albright estimate the entirety of the New Testament to have been originally composed between 40 and 80 A.D. 7 .

While the Codex Sinaiticus , a complete Greek manuscript copy of the New Testament in uncial (capital) letters, was written in A.D. 350, other existing fragments have been dated earlier.

For instance, a small fragment of the gospel of John was dated to be from A.D. 100-150. Other fragments of the New Testament in papyrus have also been found and have been dated to be from the second and third centuries A.D. 8 . Tacitus's Annals of Imperial Rome , which was initially written in A.D. 116, exists in only two manuscripts, one copied in about 850 A.D. and the other in the eleventh century 9 .

The existing copies of Josephus's The Jewish War (originally composed in the first-century A.D.) were written from the fourth century to the twelfth century 10 .

Homer's Iliad , which was initially composed around 800 B.C., has existing copies which were written starting from the second century A.D. 11

The Bible was authored by our spiritual divine God himself, as well, the Bible was divinely authored through ‘Holy Spirit spoke from God’ throughout the ages to various people that God chose and directed, to write down what HE wanted said.  Men were ‘moved by the holy spirit’ to write down what was instructed through ‘the Holy spirit spoke from God’ (2 Peter 1:20-21).

And the total doctrine we see and read today, had been authored, written and  compiled over a very long period of time to create what we know and cherish now as Gods Word, ‘The Bible’.

2 Peter 1:20-21 Amplified Bible.  20 “But understand this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of or comes from one’s own [personal or special] interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

In addition, the writers of the Bible were, very often eyewitnesses to the events they recorded, and ministers of the Word.  In the case of the writer, not being the actual eyewitness, as described in Luke 1:1-4 then careful use of various reliable sources of eyewitnesses were used.

Luke 1:1-4 “1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, 2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, 3 it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.”

The Bible has 2 major sections of doctrine.  The Old Testament (before Jesus’ birth), and The New Testament (Jesus’ birth and thereafter).

Evidence tells us, that the earliest books of the Bible (in reference to the Old Testament), go back as much as 2000 years before Christ and then we ask, what was happening in the bible around 2000 years before Christ?

This 2000BC timeline puts that same timeframe to be in the era of Noah, and we see the great flood, Noah's Ark and the Tower of Babel situation where God has to spread everyone out all over the earth in order to save them from themselves. Also, right around 2000 BC we get introduced to a man named Abraham and this is the start of Israel's history.

The 2nd major section of the Bible - The New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ, was written shortly before the end of the first century, most biblical scholars agree.

The documentations and eyewitness doctrine writings spoken of already, are in complete contrast to the fictional conception that pops up from time to time that Constantine formulated the canon of Scripture which is completely untrue and false as the Council of Nicea A.D. 325 was the only major Church council in Constantines day and it did not even discuss the matter.

So this notion of Nicea and Constantine can completely come off the plate and we can now go back to evidenced origins.

In passing it should also be noted that the monetized popular suspense fictional film and storybook The Da Vinci Code is debunked  here Debunking 'The Da Vinci Code' - ABC News (go.com) not to mention countless people have checked into the authenticated and witnessed Doctrine of the New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ, where there is zero documented witnessed evidence that Jesus married nor had children.

If solid evidence could be presented that Jesus married, most Christians would recognize it immediately in doctrine and it was have been taught through the ages through the gospels and the Great Commission, and there is no reason to make concessions to unsupported speculations and groundless hypotheses.  Could Jesus have married? Certainly. Did Jesus marry?

Not a shred of plausible evidence exists to show that He did. Brown’s theory fails on both counts.

As rebuttal to the Da Vinci Code Evangelical Scholar Darrell Bock wrote his own best-selling book, "Breaking the Da Vinci Code," resulting on road trips for a series of public events, ranging from meeting diplomats at the United Nations in New York to debating a Jewish rabbi.

His task?

To challenge the historical claims that Brown makes in his book with doctrine evidenced based scripture not to mention that rechecked by numerous scholars, not to mention people like me who have read the new testament front to back, every page and every word not finding a shred of evidence to substantiating the fiction.  So the cat came out of the bag pretty quickly and the world knows today, this was just a thriller movie and a book, with unsupported speculations and groundless hypotheses.

With that out of the way, lets get to the more interesting real facts of the Bible and its real historical, present and future value it brings to us.

God is the one, who determined which books would create the 27 books of the new testament and we know this because of 2 Peter 1:20-21 Amplified Bible.  20 “But understand this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of or comes from one’s own [personal or special] interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

As well we can also dually refer to the doctrine of 2 Timothy 3:16, NASB: “All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;”

Because these books have the authentic fingerprint of God on them, we can trust them even further knowing thus:

In addition of being written by an apostle or prophet of God.   Ephesians 2:20 says, NLT: “Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.”

The books were confirmed by acts of God.  Hebrews 2:4 Christian Standard Bible
“At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to his will.”

The books told the truth about God.  1 John 4:6 Christian Standard Bible “We are from God. Anyone who knows God listens to us; anyone who is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.” As well as John 17:17, KJV: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

The books came with alive and active Word of God.  Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

They (the books) were immediately collected by the people of God.  2 Peter 3:15-16  EHV  "15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him. 16 He spoke about these things the same way in all of his letters. There are some matters that are hard to understand in his letters, which the ignorant and unstable distort, as they also do with the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."

A firm warning that 'The Word' is not to be changed Rev 22:18-19 RSV - 18 I warn every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if any one adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Within 100 years from the deaths of most of the apostles, ALL 27 books of the new testament were recognized by Fathers in the early Church.
